If you are experiencing power supply problems, particularly on a long circuit, you will find these useful to help spread the current evenly around the track. The cables clip to the underside of the track on straights. Simply connect the same rail at two approximately equidistant points around the circuit, to provide the current with an alternative direct route to the far side of the layout. For permanent layouts where track joint expansion could be a problem in hot or cold weather, you can also ensure a consistent and even power supply around the whole circuit using copper tape.
