£124.95 The Advanced 6 car Digital Powerbase enables racing of 6 cars on a Scalextric Digital layout at the same time. Power supply sold separately. Has a clear user interface, skill level settings, hand throttle calibration, multiple gaming modes (e.g. qualifying, grand prix etc.), easy one-button car ID setting, improved power, ghost/pace cars, and options to run in Analogue or Digital power modes - switch to the "analog platform" and you can run any analogue or digital car on a one-car-per-lane basis, or two car analogue with two power supplies. The gaming modes can be used in either power configuration. 15V power supply required (C7024) or use the one from your existing 4-car powerbase.

NB If you have corner lanechangers in your circuit, and you will be wanting to run your C7042 in the "ANALOG platform", click here for some important information. Also to improve the performance of your ghost cars, look into the possibility of adding Sport+ silicon tyres to them.

Scalextric Advanced Digital 6 Car Powerbase (with display tower)

Helpful videos for basic C7042 operations have been provided on the Scalextric customer care website. This powerbase is also field-upgradeable, so as and when new firmware is released, you can apply this yourself using the instructions at the SSDC support web site.

Please note C7042 is an upgrade for people who already have a 4-car powerbase provided in a set, for example. You take out the old powerbase and plug in the new one to the same power supply. If you do not already have a 4-car powerbase and power supply, you will need to buy the power supply separately. To run the full quota of 6 cars you need two power supplies.
