Micro Scalextric Micro Scalextric analogue cars are 1/64 (HO) scale - a quarter of the size of regular Scalextric. The cars are sturdy and have very good roadholding thanks to their strong magnets, and are an ideal introduction to slot car racing for 4-7 year olds. The range of track and cars has been extended for 2008 and details of these are now included in the catalogue. Many other brands of 1:64 scale slot cars, such as Tomy, AFX, Aurora, Tyco etc. (many now out of production but still available on eBay), will run on Scalextric Micro track. Micro Scalextric cannot be upgraded to digital. There are racing car sets and character sets (Simpsons, Batman, etc.), usually available at big retailers like Argos.

My First Scalextric My First Scalextric is a colour coded figure-8 version of Micro Scalextric, with matching coloured cars, lanes, and controllers to make it easier for the youngest drivers (age 3+) to get their cars on the correct lanes and use the correct hand throttles. The track is the same as Micro Scalextric but grey rather than black, and you can run any Micro Scalextric car on it. Again, usually available cheaply at Argos.
